History

  • 1983 Founded as a sole proprietorship by Hans Peter Gisi.
  • 1987 Company becomes incorporated.
  • 1990 Representation of Permastone Silos (from England) within Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
  • 1995 Company entered into the commercial register under the new name GB Silo System AG.
  • 1996 For greater operational safety, silo mills are equipped with safety ripcords. Additionally, we offer a kit with which all older silo mill models can be retrofitted.
  • 1997 Introduction of the turbo cyclone (aerodynamic force system). This conveyance method differs from conventional blowers mainly because of its gentle feed transport.
  • 1999- 2005 Sales of used Harvestore silos. Used steel plates are imported from Canada and the USA.
  • 2006 General representation of Omerastore Germany within Switzerland, France, and Liechtenstein.
  • 2010 Erstes, unter eigener Regie, geführtes Tankprojekt. ARA Wangen-Wiedlisbach.
  • 2011 Erstes, komplett in Eigenregie ausgeführtes Tankprojekt
  • 2013 Rekordjahr: 1. Grösste Anlage am gleichen Standort gebaut (vier Silos à je 866m3) / 2. Höchster Silo gebaut (25.05 Meter / 18 Ringe) / 3. Grösster Silo gebaut (Silotyp GB 854/17 - 1’354 Kubikmeter Inhalt)
  • 2015 Neubau der Werkhalle
  • 2017 Anpassung Saugleistung beim Gebläse mit ausgeklügeltem Flügelsystem
